Fun at US Grand Prix

We got to walk across the track when we were leaving
Here is Nicky Hayden in the world famous "corkscrew" The most famous turn in racing
The Clydesdales were there! They were awesome. We got to see them in their trailers, they ride in STYLE!
This is standing on top of one of the hills surrounding the track. Needless to say we did a ton of walking and hiking all day!
Here is the finish line!

For the last three years the MotoGP motorcycle races have only made one stop in the United states over the course of their season(the rest of the races are in Malaysia, Japan, Spain, etc.), and they are held at Laguna Seca near Monterey. We went 2 years ago and loved it. So many people from around the world and so many things to see and do. I like it because it isn't like car racing, (white trash, no offense if you love it, I just don't!) it is quite the upscale event. Last year I had to sadly stay home because I was sooo pregnant, so this year was very anticipated. And it was great! But I am totally sunburnt today, despite putting on sunscreen!! Sadly our favorite rider Nicky Hayden got bumped on turn 2, so he didn't do very well. He won the last two years here though!
