Unexpected Day off

Jill is sick. Just a bad cold. She is not a happy camper! We went to the dr last night. Luckily her dr was on call, so we got to see him. But he was in the middle of sending an infant to the hospital, so we were in and out. I just wanted to make sure she didn't have an ear infection. So we got back around 8 pm and i called in a sub.
I had to go there this morning and write up sub plans. The sub I have I guess is nice, but he wanted to show a movie, I said no, there are lesson plans! We have testing for 3 hours today, and my group of boneheads which were assigned to me (not my regular kids) don't have science, so no testing. So who know what he will do, I just don't want any phone calls of students watching Batman returns instead of learning about the fall of communism. Anyways, I am home and doing laundry, making some bows, pasting picutes in to our albums. Lots of fun!
Gary will be home late tonight. Yeah! Hopefully this is the last trip to Oregon. We get to spend the whole weekend together! I don't remember when the last time we got to do that was! Probably Christmas!
Jill is asleep. Yeah! Finally. I hope she gets the rest she needs. I hate it when she doesn't feel good. Makes me soo sad!
This is what I am listening to today! So great!!! I love #13. Steph, remember when our professor, Stephenson, was the main guy in the Man of La Mancha! So good!

Lazy evening

Actually it hasn't been lazy, but I have be able to do things that I want to do, rather than laundry and things like that. Jill went to bed early, Gary is on his way to Oregon, so I have been organizing drawers, watching TV, chatting with Steph online. Lots of fun stuff. I am tired though, Jill has a bit of a cold and didn't sleep very well last night, and has been fussy all day. I hate it when you can't quite tell what is wrong with her. It makes me feel so bad that I can't make it all better! I wish she could talk, but then that would mean she is older, and I love where she is right now. But I hope she feels better! I love my little girl

My poor Mom. Jill with a cold and Reece teething makes a big handful for her! I am so ready for Spring Break (starts Apr 6) I have tons of projects to do! Can't wait! Well I think I am going to hit the hay! Ta-Ta

Gary has my camera, so I have no pics today! :-(

Dilemma

Jill has some great 6 month dresses that are too short for her and its still a little chilly to wear them, so we wear them as "baby doll" shirts. I think they look pretty cute! She didn't want to smile for the camera here cause she was too into her Stawberry Shortcake book!

Door

Jill is on her play area in our office. We keep fun toys in there so she is entertained while Gary and I work. She has found a new favorite toy to play with. Jill loves to play with the closet door. She will hit her feet against it and it will come back to her once it hits the stopper. Also if there is something on the floor in there, she will drag it out. The green jacket was on the floor, now it is out thanks to Jill!

Gary's Building

Finally, The plaster is done! Here are some of the awesome fossils that Gary made by hand to go on the building. I am amazed at how cool they look. Can't wait until Spring break to go and see the finished product! My husband is sooooo talented!

Funny face

Loving that exer-saucer (sp?)
I thought this was such a funny look! She is so dang cute and sooo fun!
Gary's building is finished! Thank goodness. He will still have a trip or two to pack up all the scaffolding. It will take 2 semi-trucks to get it all home! But Jill and I are glad to soon have Daddy home!

Sunshine girl

This is my little sunshine! She loved hanging out outside. She loved the grass, feeling it between her fingers. So cute! Jill is offically starting to Scoot! It is so funny, she revs up and goes, usually falling on her face. We are missing Daddy again. He left today for another week. All of us, Gary included, will be glad when this job is done!

I turned in my resignation to OHS this week. I will be leaving teaching on May 26. I am excited and thrilled about being a stay at home mom. It will be a whole new adventure. People ask if I will miss it, and I don't think I will. Sad, but true.
