After several years of guesses, and trials and failures, we have a diagnosis. I have ulcerative colitis. No Crohn's!!! Which the Dr said it was better to have what I have then Crohn's. It may get worse, but since I have had problems for so long, it may not. There is medication. There is no particular diet, since food is the enemy. It takes 6 weeks for my meds to kick in, so hopefully by mid march, my digestive-life will be bliss!

Where's Jill
I could hear jill playing in her room, but she was no where to be seen. Here is her secret hideout, pulling laundry out of her hamper and playing with the wheels on her stroller, while under this fun canopy! How we love her!!!!

My funny baby
Jill has discovered where the "goldfish" are kept! I love that she looks like she is in hunger agony, but really she is just whining. Notice the ducks unlimited sticker Daddy put on her.
This is jill's snack chair. Whenever it is snack time, that is where she wants it put.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for my great chair, notice it is upside down!
Not only does Jill take her books out and spread then around, but also the DVD's. She will pull them out one by one and then open them, check them out and finally stack them on her lap. So funny. THere is only one DVD that she can actually get out of its case, Minnie and Mickey. So that is good!
But as you can see, she has some great habits!

a sad story
I belong to a website group, gymbohaven.com. And one of our fellow members and her four children were killed in a drinking and driving collision. So awful! As a health teacher and a wife/mom this is one of the things that makes me SOOO ANGRY. How can a person put themselves, but more importantly, so many others at risk by their carelessness. I am grateful that alcohol has never been a part of my life. And I am glad that my life has been preserved in two instances where the other driver had been drinking. There is a charity auction in their honor on ebay with all sales going to their family. Search beth&angels on ebay.com. And visit http://www.myspace.com/bhjlv to learn more about the family.

colonoscopy
If any of you readers have to have one of these in the future, my heart goes out to you. I think it was worse than child birth. I would have a baby any day as compared to this. The prep as you can imagine is awful. And the pain afterwards is not fun. So hopefully it will be worth it when the dr figures out what is wrong with me. These problems started in 1998 and here it is 2007, so hopefully something will come of this "lovely" experience.

going swimming??
Jill has discovered my swim goggles. She brings them to me all the time to put them on her. Sometimes she just wants them on her head. As we speak, the rain was hitting JIll's windows soo hard, that she woke up! :-( Also here is a pic of what the great grandkids got from Nana. So fun!
