I started summer school on Monday. It is not fun. I am not liking having to get up to early. I can't believe I did this for 8 years straight! Jill's schedule is totally off!! Not fun for Grandma and Auntie Katie! It is only three weeks, which is short, but the minutes and hours while I am there, seem to drag. Several years ago, I updated my lessons to power point, and thank goodness I didn't throw the old overheads and handouts away, because I am in an old classroom. No modern amenities. I have been so spoiled!

My new favorite
Since Gary has been working late evenings, I have discovered a not-so-new show. If you have TLC, check out Jon and Kate plus 8. They had twins, then sextuplets! It is so refreshing to see their family of ten go through their days with their challenges and rewards. It is also pretty funny! I love their take on things and their sweet kids. So check it out!! My dancer
Jill loves to dance. She bounces and wiggles, but this week, she discovered spinning. The Picture above is her falling from her dancing just as I was taking a pic. We had some tears. But about two minutes later, she was up and dancing again.

disgusting....
This is not my child, but my child has this virus. She had a fever on Fri-Sat. then I noticed some bumps on her bottom, a few on her knees and hands. Then Sunday morning we woke up to find her whole bottom and hands covered!!! It is so awful looking, I can't even describe. It is hand, foot, and mouth disease. It is painless, goes away in a week, but looks nasty. According to my mom and mother-in-law all of us kids got it, most kids get it at school, and it is no big deal. I have a hard time thinking it is no big deal with my little girls bum looks like a war-zone. So needless to say we are disinfecting today and not going anywhere until it is gone.
