Dreading School.......

I have to go back to school one week from today. I am SOO not looking forward to it. I don't miss it and am ready for that party of my life to be over. However I have to finish out the year and then decide what I am going to do next year. It will be quite the schedule change for Jill and I. We get up together at 5 am, she eats and we both go back to bed in Mommy's and Daddy's bed. Next week Jill will get to go back to bed, but not me. Oh well. The fall semester flew by, hopefully this one will too!

We had a fun slumber party last night! Jill slept the entire time! Here she is with Auntie Christy!

Christmas is more fun with Jill!

What a fun couple of days! It is crazy adapting your normal Christmas schedule to a baby! Jill got some wonderful gifts. She loves her new giraffe from Santa!

Getting Ready for Christmas

I can't wait. Eventhough Jill doesn't understand Christmas yet, and maybe won't next year, I am so excited to see her take in the whole thing. She LOVES looking at our tree.

Last night Mom & Dad watched Garrett and Reece while Amy and Rod went Christmas Shopping, so Mom, Dad, Garrett, Reece, Jill and I went out to eat and went looking at Christmas lights. Sadly Daddy went on as 24 hour trip to Oregon to check if jobs were ready, so he didn't get to go! :-( But we had fun. We took our car, so Mom and Dad were in the front seat, and Reece and Jill were in the middle seat, and Garrett and I were in the back. It was so cute to hear Garrett comment on the lights. He would say, Grandma look! Grandpa look! Amy Look! Christmas Lights!! He would practically scream in delight! It was so fun!

Today I am cleaning my house, so I won't have to worry about it during the holidays and while Katie and her brood is here! They come THURS!!!! Yeah! Well Jill is asleep, so I need to get moving! See ya!

Jill is ready for her outing! This was Audrey's, and I thought it wouldn't fit her yet, and as you can see, the hat barely fits!

Took Jill for her 4-month check up. All is well and good. But the shots are awful. I know she needs them, but they are just heart wrenching. I cry every time! And this time she totally bled! Anyways, not fun. But she was happy all evening, so it was all better. Here is our sleepy baby!

Jill and I went to our first movie since she was born yesterday! It was great! we saw Happy Feet. I give it two thumps up! But anyway Jill was so good! She Slept for about the first 20 minutes then she watched the rest of the movie! She got fussy will about 15 minutes left because it was lunch time! But it was so fun. It was a good day!

Girls

We had girls night out at my house tonight! So fun! It is so great to get together for a couple of hours and chat, eat and chat some more. I think it is so important to have friends. Friends are just wonderful. I am so glad to have friends who are related and those who are not related. It is nice to be able to get advice or have a listening ear. Friends rule!

I finallly got my tree done. We always get a "real" tree. It is different since I grew up with a fake tree, having a real one is nice and smells great. I would love to have a fake tree since we wouldn't have to fork over money every year for a tree, but then we woul have to store it. Gary treasures his garage and says there isn't room in there for a fake tree! He is so spoiled!
